Metal separation

Metal separators are different to metal detection as they help remove the metal from the material. They can detect any metal as well as electrically conductive materials down to the size of a 0.6 mm steel ball.

Metal separators are mounted directly under the cyclone. When metal is detected, the path of material flow is diverted, the contaminated material is emptied and then the flow is returned to its normal path.

Metal separators are available in different sizes depending on capacity needs.
