Rapid Granulator Updates the Raptor Duo On Display at NPE

Rapid Granulator is pleased to announce an exciting new enhancement to the Raptor Shredder with the Duo. The Raptor DUO takes size reduction one step further with a fully integrated granulator into the Raptor Shredder base.

The company designs and delivers granulation solutions to customers in the most diverse applications and market segments. Rapid Granulator is pleased to announce an exciting new enhancement to the Raptor Shredder with the Duo. The Raptor DUO takes size reduction one step further with a fully integrated granulator into the Raptor Shredder base. The advantage is minimizing footprint while providing the right sized granulated material.  The bolted modular design and Open-Hearted technology allows for easy changing of wear parts. The Raptor DUO is available for the Raptor 1350 model. The system offers an open-hearted design, low energy consumption and pre-adjustable knives for optimal sharpness and reduced down time.

The Raptor Duo now includes a newly designed reinforced pusher system. This new system with upgraded pneumatic cylinders allows the operator to increase the output and thus makes the machine more versatile for different applications. The pusher body system now has an increased depth and reinforced side guides to support the pusher – this allows it to withstand any irregular load without loss of production.  The newly designed corrugated floor opens up usage for demanding applications such as with sheet, big bags, and thin wall materials. This floor design prevents jamming, reducing the need to use scrapers and improves the flexibility in range of products it can efficiently shred.

The NPE 2024 booth will showcase the full range of granulator and shredder models with capacity from a few kilos up to several tons of ground plastic per hour; materials that can be added back directly to the production process.
